Student Life

Student Life is an important part of your university experience.

The extracurricular activities that take place outside of the classroom are what make life fun, interesting, and memorable. Student life can involve attending events, joining experiential learning programs, becoming a leader in peer mentorship programs, and participating in student government. Students can also access many of UBC’s student services through the AMS of UBC and UBC Recreation. These programs and events are readily available to students and allow them to gain a fuller experience of college life and greater success in their academic work.

More info about Student Life can be found on Canvas.

  • Orientation

Attending our Fall and Winter Orientation programs is a great way to get started with us before classes begin. You’ll have the chance to meet students, staff, and faculty plus get some tips on making your time at Corpus Christi College a fun and memorable experience.

  • Student ID Card

The Corpus Christi-St. Mark’s College ID Card is your official photo identification card. Request your card through the Student Development Canvas course.

The Corpus Christi-St. Mark's College ID Cards serves a different purpose from the UBC affiliate student card, which gives you access to a variety of services and facilities at UBC. You can renew your expired UBC affiliate student cards or apply for new cards by emailing [email protected]. Steps and materials needed:
    • 1. Indicate your name and “Affiliate student card renewal” or "Affiliate student card application" in the subject line
    • 2. Attach a scan of a government-issued ID and a digital headshot

12 to 15 business days may apply for your request to be processed, and you will be informed when your card is available.

More information about UBC affiliate cards and CWL accounts can be found here.

  • Student Government

Corpus Christi College students have the opportunity to participate in the College’s student government. Students on the Executive Council represent the student body to the College’s administration and plan events throughout the year.

  • Groups and Clubs

Corpus Christi College students can join any of UBC’s student groups and clubs. To learn more, visit AMS CampusBase.

Students who wish to start a group or club at Corpus Christi College should speak with the Student Development Coordinator for guidance and support.

  • Plato’s Cave (Student Lounge)

Our student lounge is the place to hang out, meet friends, grab a drink, play video games, or study. Located on the main floor of our Main Campus building, it is usually the busiest place on campus.

  • Housing

Students in need of housing on the UBC campus are encouraged to apply at St. Andrew’s Hall or Carey Centre. Both are located close to campus. Students should apply early, as spaces are limited and demand for housing at UBC is high. Learn more
